The holidays are a special time for families for so many reasons. There is something very magical in the air – be it the time spent together sharing family traditions, conversations by the fire, cooking together or just hanging out reliving childhood memories with each other. Holidays become a bit more special when families travel long distances just to be together and share in all the fun and excitement.
What better way to document these special family moments during the holidays than by having a holiday family photoshoot! – That is exactly what the A family did. The big kids and little ones got into the spirt of the holidays and I had a great time  documenting these memories for them. As a photographer, it is very rewarding being able to capture the emotions and the interactions that make a family whole especially the subtle gestures like having a cup of coffee together or a tight hug from your kids 🙂
The red and grey color pallet was perfect, not just for the indoor shots but all outdoor…the white of the snow really contrasted well with the red tones.
I absolutely love the interlinking of the fingers and hands. Call me silly, but I just feel it really brings out the element of human interconnection that is the core of any family!
