A couple of weeks ago, I made my foray into Glamour Photography. I got together with my friend and uber talented makeup artist Pia from Pretty by Pia (you remember Pia’s Lifestyle Headshots post, right? 🙂 )and together we created magic in my makeshift home studio.
Armed with a bunch of diffusers, white curtains, pretty clothes, and removable walls of different colors we created gorgeous images of two very beautiful women. This is the first of a two part series on my experience with Glamour Photography.
Being a natural light, nature and outdoor loving photographer, this experience was definitely out of my comfort zone. But this lovely lady, Morgan along with Pia, made it so easy for me. Between working as a MUA and holding up my reflector, Pia was my perfect studio assistant. Morgan was such a natural in front of the camera – she was so sweet, calm and confident but every so often she would burst into giggles and I swear those were some of my favorite shots!
I love this aspect of photography – Glamour Photography is so much fun. It is a great way to spend an afternoon getting pampered, wearing pretty clothes and having beautiful pictures to celebrate being a women!
