Generally family portraits stop when the kids grow up, leave home for college or just move out of the house. I understand that schedules get busy and family meetings often occur once in a few months or even years (I know from personal experience – a lot of my own family is thousands of miles away and we don’t get to see each other often). But there is really no greater time to get Family Portraits than when family from far and wide gathers at home for a special occasion or for the holidays. The L family sure took advantage of a family wedding to get updated family portraits – we went from casual, posed, candids to formal wear in a span of a few hours – blowing bubbles and sipping champaign!
The love among this family is so evident in these pictures, the miles between them is nothing more than a number. I love how the grand babies are doted upon by not just the grandparents but even the aunts and uncles. Even Kona, the dog got in on the family action 🙂 🙂
As a Lifestyle Family Photographer, I know I have done my job when the L family wrote back to me to say that these family pictures are priceless to them and will be enjoyed for generations to come! – what a lovely sentiment and I am so honored to have contributed to a family treasure!
Richard_1 - Great set of photos. One big happy family :). That’s always nice to see. Keep it up!
