Fall is surely one of the prettiest times of the year but it is also one of the busiest times of the year for a photographer. Between client sessions and editing, I seemed to have missed this month’s blog circle post…sigh!. But when my friends and I talked about doing another installment of “6 on 6“, I knew exactly which images I wanted to showcase.
These images are very special to me as I remember those fleeting fall days in between all the flurry of activity around me!
On our last weekend getaway to a magical place in Wisconsin, I woke up to thick fog over the lake. As the fog slowly cleared, I got a glimpse of all the fall color around the pier 🙂

Although you cannot quite see her, this is a shot of my 7-year old’s first single kayaking trip around a two mile lake. I watched with my heart in my mouth the whole time but I was beaming with pride as my fearless baby took on the world (at least in her mind 🙂 )…
