Lifestyle Headshots – Pretty By Pia

You know that feeling when you meet someone for the first time and instantly feel a connection. As if you were friends in a past life 🙂  There is something there that instantly makes you feel comfortable and relaxed and you can talk for hours!! – I have been incredibly fortunate to meet some wonderful people – clients, colleagues and peers who have made me feel so fortunate to be in this profession. Being a professional photographer and a small business owner is tough (there is no sugar coating that) but when you have friends like Pia of Pretty By Pia, you laugh till your stomach hurts and talk till your mouth hurts but you feel incredibly happy and blessed to have a friend for life!

Pia is an amazing makeup artist and owner of Pretty By Pia. She and I got to talking shop and business and almost immediately decided we needed to do a Lifestyle Headshot Photoshoot to showcase her beautiful studio, her amazing makeup skills and her absolutely adorable assistant, Prince! – Don’t they look awesome!…I wanted these pictures to be fun, natural and really light and happy – that’s the way I see Pia and I hope you do too…

Pia’s studio is her happy place and you can see that she is extremely passionate in what she does with the way her studio is laid out and stocked. She has lots of pretty things but my absolute favorite is this image of her mom – watching over her everyday!

I LOVE these images of Pia and Prince. Prince is always by his mom, watching over her and supporting her everyday….there is no better companion than that of a faithful dog!
