Naperville Outdoor Lifestyle Pet Portraits

While I don’t consider myself a pet portrait photographer, I simply cannot pass up the opportunity to photograph any four legged pet. Especially someone as regal as Mr. Prince and his lovely mom (and my dear friend) Pia from PrettybyPia. Pia is an amazing makeup artist here in Naperville. You might recognize her from her Lifestyle Headshots Photoshoot from June. Pia has become a great friend and my muse for all the occasions that I want to take my camera out to practice or just play 🙂 However, this time, we focused on one of the other loves of her life – this rambunctious 5 year old little munchkin called Prince.

Prince came prepared for his photoshoot. I guess he really paid attention to my ‘What to wear for your photoshoot guidelines’ 🙂 🙂  Clad in a stylish blue and white sweater, he color-coordinated with his mom perfectly. He was just so thrilled to be out in the park – romping around and stopping every once in a while to pose for the camera. He was not happy that I was interrupting his time with mom so I just worked around them. While I love his classic pet portraits, the candid pictures of him interacting with his mommy are my favorite.

This is only one part of Princy’s outdoor lifestyle portrait session – the other half was done on film and I am eagerly awaiting the results 🙂 – I just did not want to hold on to this much cuteness and felt it was my moral duty as a photographer to share Mr. Prince’s portraits with the world 😉
